HELP WITH HP PSC 1610 PRINTER!!!!!!?

We ran out of ink and replaced it, but now the ink carriage won't move. It's stuck on the right side and won't move even if we unplug the power cord. We've tried seeing if it was a paper jam, but there's nothing in there. We need help!!!!!!!! Please explain in plain english.HELP WITH HP PSC 1610 PRINTER!!!!!!?
In plain English.......buy a new printer. Printers are cheap.
