HP photosmart C309a printer photo printing question!?!?

3 days ago bought this printer. set it up, everything works fine, until the moment we tried the photo printing options. we put our SD card in, select a picture, and print it out. picture perfect. second one --%26gt; picture perfect again, until the third one. starting from the third one, the colors appears to be off, sometimes alot, sometiems a little (the worse is when its just a color blur, no details at all) what's wrong with the color? The first few picture were used by kirkland photo paper, frist 2 were fine, 3rd and on were messed up. i tried using HP photo paper, it still has the same problem, except a little bit better. What's wrong? should i go return the printer and get another one? is it the inkjet's problem? and why is the green color EXTEMELY BRIGHT green?HP photosmart C309a printer photo printing question!?!?
Look at your printer properties and see if there is some utilities you can run. I wonder if you did the initial calibration.

Usually, I can right click my printer, select properties, then look for utilities. Sometimes there is calibration, or nozzle clean, and maybe some other routines you can run.

Sometimes you just need to run the software that comes with the printer and see if the utility routines are there.

The number one problem with inkjet printers is they get clogged, especially if they set too long, like on a shelf in a store, with no use.

If it doesnt work, you could probably make them give you new ink cartridges.
