HP Deskjet 5150 printer , ink cartridges problems ?

I have a HP Deskjet 5150 , I didn't use it for a few months and I formated my windows and these days I wanted to print some documents , I got it and installed the software than automatically printed a (test-page) and than came some warnings in the display saying that my cartridges were out of ink , I got them and shake a bit , than i putted them again in the printer and but again the same problem , I tried to change the printer preferences but nothing , I went and refill both cartridges , and again the same problem . BTW the ink light is flashing , when i remove the 3colour cartridge it stops , than when I want to print just with the black cartridges in it , it makes like it's printing but comes a blank page , I tried to install the drivers than install them again but nothing . When I want to check the ink level it says :';The computer is unable to establish two-way communication with the device'; , I tried to clean the printer and cartridges heads but still the same printer , I tried form an other pc -same problem , I tried turning it off for 30 sec. and again turn it back , same problem . I'm feed up with this crap , can anybody solve this problem??HP Deskjet 5150 printer , ink cartridges problems ?

Did you fully uninstall before trying to reinstall?


HP cartridges are not designed to be refilled. Even if the refill is actually successful, there is no way for the system to gauge the level of ink in a refilled cartridge.


Printers that take two cartridges will not print with only one cartridge loaded
