Please do not attempt to repair the unit or you will run the risk of worsening the ';problem';. Please bring the printer to your nearest HP Service Center. Try removing the cover of the printer and see what you can do from there but if you are not confident in doing that, don't risk anything, contact a professional and that will be the wisest thing to do.
