Hp psc 1350 printer is not scanning?!?!?

i have a hp psc 1350 scanner/copier/printer in one and when i press the scan button, the ';on/resume'; button just blinks green for a little while then just goes back to steady green, but nothing scans at all.

Mine is doing the same thing which is how I found myself on here. It will scan if I go to control panel and then to scanners and printers and do it manually... so hopefully that will work for you and you won't have to buy a new one... but I ams ick of doing it manually personally lol. check if u can make a copy... if u cannot then the scanner is gone
