HP C4180- how are you able to set printer to only use black ink cartridge?

Click the ';Printers and faxes'; button in the start menu, then right click on your printer, it should show ';printing preferences';, go through the tab buttons (graphic on my computer), it should show ';color mode'; preferences, click for grey scale/black only.
