try doing a clean print head from ur printer, then after that try to do a hp default test page printing. this may get ur new cartridge to work...

My HP Photosmart 1000 Printer?
My Printer is acting so stupid! I put in a new color ink cartridge, and it says ';Color Cartridge Not Compatible, Use appropriate HP Cartridge'; But it's the same exact one as the one i am replacing, which isnt shooting out any ink! So Im guessing it's out of ink. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix the new ink?My HP Photosmart 1000 Printer?
