My vista tells me i am missing my spooler each time i try to install the printer. Any ideas, It's a c6280 HP?

I've had similar problems when trying to install a Windows XP printer driver under Windows Vista. It will shut down the print spooler service.





Firstly make sure you have the Vista drivers for the printer and it's not using XP/2000 drivers.





Next uninstall any old printers you have setup, reboot the machine and then try again.
