For example an A4 photograph would be squashed into the top half of the sheet of paper. Any idea how I can rectify this ? Thanks !I have an HP deskjet 6122 printer. It is now printing everything in a condensed 'squashed' way !....?
this happens to me too, but i own a crappy Lexmark Z13, its been like it now for a couple of weeks and i cant stop it. i didnt think HP would give that problem too.

Hello,
(ANS) No! the problem here is almost certainly a setting in the printer drivers for the HP deskjet printer.
The best way to quickly solve or fix this problem is to:- (assuming your using MS windows of course).
Start Button, %26gt; Start Menu, %26gt; Settings, %26gt; Control Panel, %26gt; Printers %26amp; fax, %26gt; next you should have an installed printer set-up here, click on your HP DeskJet (but only highlight this item DONT actually run it !!), next %26gt; right click with your mouse, from the small menu that appears, now select properties, %26gt; this should show you a multi-tabbed page, this contains the properties of your HP printer drivers, the setting you need to adjust should be on one of these tabs. More than likely its just a small tick (check box) box that requires un-checking or un-ticking for condensed printing, etc.
Hope that helps?
Kind Regards Ivan

Try printing a test page. If it prints it pefectly then your printer is printing fine. If you try to print from a document and it does the squash print then try to reinstall or update the driver.
Paper might be too thick and its sticking on the rollers. (im just guessing)
Sorry I dont mess with printers much... :(
