Run a print head cleaning. Especially if your printer sits for a while in between uses. A print head cleaning will flush out any dried ink and debris that could be the problem. When the print head cleaning is done you will get a diagnostic page. If all seems well print keep printing. You are probably out of one of the inks in your tri color cartridge. You can clean your print head on the actually cartridge itself with a lint free cloth and distilled water. try with a coffee filter! u should get 3 ink lines, if not then change the cartidge for sure!! good luck

You have to change the ';head'; (of course if you try before clean the heads or replace cartridge).The guarantee doesn't cover the ';heads';. I think you may need to buy another printer.
