I couldn't find anything on your printers ability to print to a CD...I have an Artisan 800 by Epson and it does let me print my own lables on printable CD's. There are two basic types of printable CD's one with paper preapplyed and one with a matte plastic finish designed for inkjet ink. either will work. All inkjets i have seen that print lables directly on the disc have a special tray that hold the disc. Look at your users manual to see how...if at all...to print on disc's. If you got LightScribe disc..they need to be run..face down...in your CD/DVD writer...IF it has LightScribe capabilities and you have the software. I have the Samsung S223Q that has LightScribe burning capabilities. Either one works very well however LightScribe only burns in B%26amp;W.
Unfortunately, no. Your HP C4400 All-in-One Printer doesn't print directly to CD/DVDs.

The following website (HP) states:

Media types supported: Paper (plain, inkjet, photo), envelopes, transparencies, labels, cards, HP premium media, iron-on transfers.
If you can get them in the printer, go for it, but most of the time, CDs are printed by the CD Drive!
